This blog post will tackle the seventh guiding principle in working with Multilingual Learners (MLs). This content has been adapted for this blog from the WIDA ELD Standards Framework.
This guiding principle is short and sweet and leaves you with some powerful reflection questions regarding your classroom practices.
"Multilingual learners use and develop language to interpret and access information, ideas, and concepts from a variety of sources, including real-life objects, models, representations, and multimodal texts." (WIDA 2020).
